Not endorsed in the slightest (yet?), but we love our local record store. Founded in 1985, Bolton's only dedicated record shop is much more than that. Slap bang in the heart of the North West (which, let's not fuck about, is the music capital), X-Records boasts a wild selection of wax and music merchandise in its basement; a plethora of memorabilia options on its ground level... and is the central hub of a scene much too small these days in our opinion. Squeeze on through to the back: big fat stack of CD racks (won't get none of your CDs back, iykyk). Definitely worth a visit, especially if you're in the Greater Manchester area and consider yourself a crate-digging vinyl junkie. They’ve got what you need - good shit across the board. Support your local music store and help keep physical media alive. We will be.
